    Financial Planning Workshop for Women

    The Worcester County Commission for Women invites you to attend the Suddenly Single workshop on Financial Planning to be held at the Community Church at Ocean Pines located at 11227 Racetrack Road in Berlin, on Saturday, October 15, 2016 from 10am-1pm.

    The keynote address by Christine Selzer of Merrill Lynch will discuss smart uses of your money. Panel presentations on three topics will be presented: Legal Issues by Cynthia MacDonald of MacDonald Law Office; Credit Issues by Marian Bickerstaff, Retired SVP & Lending Officer; Fraud Issues by Roxanne Gabrielson of PKS & Company.

    Women’s Education Raffle

    In support of raising funds for the Worcester County Commission for Women initiative called “Empowering Women Scholarship, “  the Friends of the Women’s Commission,  a 501(c) (3) organization, are selling a limited number of  raffle tickets at $25 for a chance to win cash and gas cards.

    Every month between October and December 2016, four $50 gas cards and two checks of $250 each will be presented to six winners. You can win as many times as your ticket is drawn. The award of a scholarship(s) will be presented in May 2017.
